Fairleigh Dickinson University Staff Nurse (part-time) in Teaneck, New Jersey
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Experiential Education, renders general administrative maintenance of student health records relative to clinical site placement contract requirements in accordance with program accreditation guidelines to meet program compliance.
Required Qualifications:
R.N., preferably B.S.N., with current N.J. License and current C.P.R. certification.
Prior nursing experience is required, preferably in a College Health Center, Ambulatory Health Center, or as a Public Health or School Nurse.
Ability to provide confidential, high quality, culturally competent nursing care and health education to a diverse campus community with dignity and respect.
Self-directed; ability to work well with staff and student workers.
Knowledge of computer systems for word processing, data management and other applications such as electronic scheduling, EMR and immunization databases.
A valid driver’s license and accessibility to transportation for travel between campuses.
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
