Job Summary:

Technician position to assist with the routine and daily tasks involved with the C45 Lab. Prototyping cabling along with the ability to troubleshoot cables with the knowledge of how to use drawing schematics, parts lists, and wiring tables. Must be organized and be able to manage control over engineering data and records. This position is a full time, short term position.

Job Duties:

Prototype cable and electrical assembly fabrication to print, testing and troubleshooting using engineering drawings schematics, wiring tables and parts lists. Assembling or installing equipment or parts requiring simple wiring, soldering, or connecting. Performing simple or routine tasks or tests such as tensile or hardness tests; operating and adjusting simple test equipment; records test data. Gathering and maintaining specified records of engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc.; performing computations by substituting numbers in specified formulas; plotting data and draws simple curves and graphs. Obtain and maintain a secret clearance

Mandatory Skill Requirements (must have):

• 1-3 years of experience fabricating and testing prototype cable and electrical control and monitoring assemblies using engineering drawing packages. Additionally, ability to solder.

Desired Skill Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of electrical control and monitoring systems.
• J-STD-001 Soldering
• IPC-A-620 Cable / Wiring Assemblies
• IPC-A-610 Acceptability

Special Considerations or Comments:

Must have secret clearance.
