WSP is currently seeking an exceptional candidate for an Entry-Level Environmental Planner for our Honolulu office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
General environmental planning support, including data collection, research, and documentation
Assist in analysis of geospatial, statistical, and operations data
Contribute to environmental feasibility studies, permitting strategies and other analyses
Support field work/research, alternatives screening analyses, environmental assessments, and community outreach for public clients
Assist planners and other staff in creating, editing, maintaining and analyzing datasets and geospatial data
Coordinate with other disciplines, including sustainability and water resources
Manage time and effort effectively on multiple projects

Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Environmental Planning, Environmental Science or related field
Knowledge of environmental planning practices and policies
Good organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities and attention to detail
Strong technical writing, analytical and oral communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Master’s degree in Planning, Environmental Planning, Environmental Science or related field
Familiarity with GIS applications and tools
Experience with graphic design software
Environmental planning internship experience
